GTM Research Reserve is a nature preserve located in between Vilano Beach and Ponte Vedra Beach. Teeming with life, GTM is a place with many interconnected habitats from the ocean to the forests. Beautiful beaches meet the intracoastal waterway in the spectacular and picturesque backdrop for weddings.
GTM Research Reserve offers our clients multiple options for their wedding ceremony and reception. You have the option of either a beach ceremony or a courtyard ceremony overlooking the intracoastal waterway. There is amazing indoor and outdoor space available to hold a larger capacity. Most coastal venues, outside of the hotels, are limited in group size. GTM allows up to 125 very spaciously. You can also bring in your own caterer and beverages. Two perks that are very rare for a coastal venue.
Amazing Courtyard Turtle Pad
The GTM Environmental Education Center’s outside turtle pad is a large paver area overlooking the Guana River. Nothing but pristine nature is in the distance. This space is amazing for either a ceremony or a cocktail hour. If you choose to have your ceremony here, no worries, there is an outside area just to the rear for the cocktail hour. Our team likes to combine an indoor and outdoor experience at this venue. Most of our couples are looking to capture the beauty of outdoor Florida. By having a ceremony outdoors followed by an outdoor cocktail hour, you have plenty of time dedicated to a natural setting. Once we wrap up the cocktail hour, we invite the guests to the inside space for dinner, dancing, and more ceremony activities.
