Kelly and Jose: An Amelia Island Beach Wedding

Newlyweds Kelly and Jose Espinosa were married this past Saturday at the Omni Amelia Island

Plantation Resort. The Omni is on a beautiful property of lush greenery. The resort’s beach is private and secluded, which created an intimate environment for the ceremony and reception. The Espinosa’s chose the Falling into Forever package. Their four post bamboo arbor was covered with white organza that shimmered in the afternoon sun, and they chose a long centerpiece with white garden roses, white hydrangeas, white wisteria, and greenery that covered the front of the arbor.

The twenty guests that attended were asked to sit as the ceremony began and Kelly’s bridesmaids walked down the aisle with bouquets of eggplant calla lilies and live guitarist, Terry, softly played music in the background. As Kelly began to walk towards the ceremony space, everyone stood and admired how beautiful she looked in a flowing white gown with a fitted top. The ceremony began and Kelly and Jose said their vows and did a sand ceremony combining different colored sands to symbolize the joining of two people. When the ceremony ended, Kelly and Jose began taking their pictures with one of Sun and Sea’s photographers, Nick. The small dunes of the beach and expansive shores provided the perfect backdrop for stunning photos.

As photos were being taken, guests gathered under the 20X40 tent to enjoy lemonade and tea as well as assorted fruits and vegetables. Live music continued during the reception and Kelly and Jose joined their party once they finished taking photos. The sun began to set as the party ended and people left the beach to return to the Omni to enjoy dinner. The Sun and Sea team wishes the best for Kelly and Jose and were overjoyed to help them plan their special day.
