St. Augustine
Old World Charm

The Oldest City

St. Augustine Beach Weddings

St. Augustine is one of the most unique places in the United States and perfect for a beach wedding. Hosting your beach wedding in the oldest city adds culture that just can not be replicated elsewhere.

There are multiple beach stretches that are an ideal fit for your upcoming beach wedding or ceremony.  St. Augustine has beaches that are owned by the state, the county of St. John’s, and also the city itself.  No worries, we know how to handle each and who owns what!  Anastasia State Park is a popular choice for a beach wedding and is the closest beach to the historic district.  This state owned beach is very natural and is absent of buildings.  With plenty of parking and a view of the lighthouse, this is a perfect fit for a large amount of our clients.

When planning a destination beach wedding, you want to select a city that will offer an overall abundance of activities to entertain both you and your guests.  Choosing St. Augustine for your beach wedding destination will not disappoint.   Let your guests spend time exploring the historic district and walking St. George street.  The oldest fort in the United States, built by the Spanish in the 1500’s, is just one of the landmarks and beautiful landscapes of St. Augustine.  Visit the many local restaurants and pubs including the Columbia and Harry’s.  Both great choices for a rehearsal or wedding dinner.  Take a romantic horse and carriage ride down the brick roads that line the cities paths.  What better place to have your beach wedding, vow renewal, or commitment ceremony then right here in the oldest city!

Photography is another huge benefit when you select St. Augustine for your beach wedding destination.  Many of our couples will have their wedding on one of the various beach locations we recommend, and then add on an additional photo session downtown.  The historic district of St. Augustine offers a couple and their photographer a truly diverse canvas to work with.  European architecture, cobblestone walkways, historic buildings, and the beautiful Bridge of Lions are just a few of the countless backdrops offered in the city.  Photography is such an important part of your special day, making your St. Augustine beach wedding unique.
